During the 2017-2018 school year, FWISD conducted a "Stakeholders' Climate Survey" with the following premise,
"To leverage what is working well and identify critical gaps for improvement, the Grants Compliance and Monitoring (GCM) Department invites you to complete the 2018-2019 FWISD Stakeholders’ Climate Survey."
|
FWISD sent out the following District Newsletter in April 2018 to encourage greater participation in the survey.

Among its questions for the students, these overly generalized questions were asked despite being informed in 2016 of a Title IX compliance problem.
" Boys and girls are treated equally well."
"I regularly attend school-sponsored events, such as school dances, sporting events, student performances, or other school activities." "I regularly participate in extra-curricular activities offered through this school, such as, school clubs or organizations, musical groups, sports teams, student government, or any other extra-curricular activities." "There are lots of chances for students at this school to get involved in sports, clubs, and other school activities outside of class." |
After FWISD made personnel changes to its Director of Athletics and its Title IX Coordinator indications where made that a proper survey would be conducted during the 2018 fall semester to help determine female student athletic interests. However, only another Stakeholders' Climate Survey was pushed out in the month of December asking the same questions of its students.
